Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password (stored as a secure hash). This information is used to manage your account and communicate with you.

Resume and Candidate Data

We collect and process resume text or files you upload. This data is used solely to provide the analysis service you request. Resume data contains personal information about third-party candidates — you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to upload this data.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including analysis counts, feature usage, and error logs. This data helps us improve the Service and enforce subscription limits.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To send service-related communications (expiry warnings, account notices)
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data or candidate data to third parties. We do not use candidate resume content for AI model training.

4. Data Retention

Analysis records (including resume text and AI-generated results) are automatically deleted 30 days after upload, unless you have enabled the permanent storage add-on for your account. You can manually delete any analysis at any time.

Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure — please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Stripe — payment processing (we do not store card details)
  • Anthropic — AI inference for resume analysis (resume text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is governed by their data processing terms)

Each third party has their own privacy policy. We select providers who maintain strong data protection standards.

7. Candidate Data and Your Obligations

Resume data you upload may contain sensitive personal information about job candidates. You are the data controller for this information. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process candidate data and for complying with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable regulations) in your jurisdiction.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability
