Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RecruiterSignal (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

RecruiterSignal provides AI-powered resume analysis tools for recruiters and hiring teams. The Service accepts resume uploads or pasted text and returns structured analysis, candidate summaries, and entity explanations to assist in hiring decisions. RecruiterSignal is a decision-support tool only — all hiring decisions remain the sole responsibility of the user.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Each account is for use by a single individual or organization. Sharing account credentials is prohibited. Agency and Professional plan subscribers may add team members through the designated team management feature.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload resume data without the candidate's knowledge or consent where required by applicable law
• Use the Service to make unlawfully discriminatory hiring decisions
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the Service's source code or AI models
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable employment, privacy, or data protection laws
• Upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the Service

5. Data and Resume Content

You retain ownership of all resume content and candidate data you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant RecruiterSignal a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Resume data is stored for 30 days from upload date unless you have enabled the permanent storage add-on. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights and consents to upload any personal data to the Service.

6. AI Analysis and Accuracy

The AI-generated analysis provided by RecruiterSignal is intended as a decision-support tool only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any analysis output. Hiring decisions must be made by qualified human professionals and must comply with applicable employment laws. Do not rely solely on AI analysis for any consequential hiring decision.

7. Subscription and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RecruiterSignal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
